  1. These descriptions were made following the Guidelines for Field Soil Description of WRB (IUSS Working Group WRB 2006; FAO 2006). A soil horizon is a layer (which is different in depths), approximately parallel to the surface of the soil that is distinguishable from adjacent layers by a distinctive set of properties produced by the soil-forming processes (i.e., pedogenesis)
